Find the Love (Live Acoustic) Music Video is Released!

Find the Love (Live Acoustic)

is now officially RELEASED to the public!

This is the first time I am coming out and singing about some serious and heartbreaking world issues in a song. This is the most raw I have ever been in my songwriting so far.

This song came from a deep place in the collective soul of humanity and Mother Earth, from Mother Earth's deep pain at her sacred daughters being abused, feeling her children as casualties of war in her holy womb, in her sacred body.

We are all Mother Earth's children. We are a human family, one universal Soul. What happens to one of us happens to all of us on a deep level.

We cannot ignore the abuse happening to our brothers and sisters anymore. We cannot sweep it under the rug. Through truth and awareness, we can heal.

Find the Love gives reference to the heartbreaking reality of missing and murdered indigenous women in the lyric,

"My sisters have been taken from the rez. Who took them?"

I have connected with some beautiful people and organizations, which are in integrity working to bring awareness  to the problem of MMIW and bring our sisters home.

One organization co-founded by Norm Sands is

MMIW&P of California (Missing and Murdered Indigenous WOMEN and People of California.

It would mean a lot if you would take a second to donate to this organization by sending whatever you can to

Venmo: @MMI-PofCalifornia

Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women USA is another organization doing great work.

You can donate to them as well through

Paypal: mmiwusa@gmail.com

Find the Love Lyrics:

Waking up another day

Another story on the news of how I need to be afraid

The great debate upon the stage of glory

So who is our new prophet now?

Tell us how you’re going to save us

My brother had his hands up

He said don’t shoot

My sisters have been taken from the rez

Who took them?

My children lie in rubble in the holy land

How subtle how we make war a sacrifice

Tell me, when will it suffice?

But we try to find the love

We try to find the love

We try to find the love ooh

Oh we try to find the love

We try to find the love

We try to find the love ooh

You wanna give them what they gave

Wanna retaliate so we can spiral down in hate

Think you’re the first to think of that?

It tastes so flat when all your love is gone

And everything around you is wrong

My brother had his hands up

He said don’t shoot

My sisters have been taken from the rez

Who took them?

My children lie in rubble by the holy land

So subtle how we make war a sacrifice

Tell me, when will it suffice?

But we try to find the love

We try to find the love

We try to find the love ooh

Oh we try to find the love

We try to find the love

We try to find the love ooh

Oh we try oh we try

And we try ooh

Oh we try oh we try

And we try oh

And we pray

We plant those seeds

Seeds for the new life

Oh we plant, tend to those seeds

Seeds for the new dawn

We let them grow

We let them grow into trees for the children

We let them grow

We let them grow into trees for the grandchildren

And we try to find the love

We try to find the love

We try to find the love ooh

Oh we try to find the love

Oh we try to find the love

We try to find the love ooh
